A post is similar to a news article. It is generally related to a date and/or a subject. It is found by the category, tags, and date assigned to it.
A page is like the page of a book. Neither categories nor tags can be assigned to it. It is found through menus or links.
Exporting Posts and Pages
You can save posts and pages by exporting them to your computer. You can then import them into a different WordPress website or import them back into your original website to restore them.
